Text Box: Manuele Adrian Mizzi - B.F.A.

Manuele holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Voice Performance from York University studying with renowned operatic soprano Stephanie Bogle.  His extensive arts background has led his path from lessons in piano, opera, and stringed, brass, woodwind instruments to becoming the Musical Director of the Canadian Children's Theatre Company 8 years ago.  His journey with this company created the opportunity to work with children, youths and teens in a group setting teaching music and choral works.
In addition to this, Manuele started his own music company, A Little Night Music, comprised of a private studio of piano, voice and woodwind lessons opening him up to teaching on a broader scale with individuals one on one.  His teaching career has expanded from teaching lessons to workshops for local dance companies, public and private schools and many of the local municipalities and partnering with local faith groups and nursing homes bringing music out in to the community.
As a resident of Richmond Hill, and an active community member he thought it wise to take the next step and involve himself with his community's arts council, Arts Richmond Hill. Beginning as the Arts Richmond Hill administrator honed his skills for marketing, public relations and event planning.  This also helped to expand his volunteering capacity involving both his own company and community colleagues to work together in promoting the arts.
Being a performer lead him towards many doorsteps including being a former member of the Aurora Opera Company, where he participated in productions such as 'The Secret Garden' & 'Hello Dolly'.  His stage roles included leads in musicals like 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Into the Woods' among others. Also Manuele had the joy of traveling to perform in New York City with the show Emmanuel playing the role of Thomas.  In the past year, Manuele enjoyed the opportunity to be part of two great musical ensembles in the city of Toronto.  With the Opera in Concert Chorus lead by Robert Cooper, Manuele was able to hone his operatic chorus skills singing works by Donizetti ('Anna Bolena') and Rimsky-Korsakov (The Snow Maiden).  His work with All The Kings Voices lead by David King gave him the chance to lead the tenor section through both the Mozart and Faure Requiem's and other famous choral works. His artistic accolades range from being a finalist and winner in the CNE Rising Star Competition to gold standard awards with the Newmarket Festival. Also Manuele was a semi-finalist in the eastern state Ohio NATS competition while attending university. Prior to these triumphs Manuele studied under the tutelage of renowned soprano Galina Lumkoski while attending and completing his Arts York diploma at Unionville High School of the Arts.
